PERSONAL TRAINER / My career in personal training is fuelled by a passion for helping other people achieve their goals. I have been in the health and fitness industry since 2002 and watching people change their lives really motivates me. With my interest in anything health and fitness, together with my background in professional Rugby, it seemed a natural step to pursue my own career in personal training. I started studying in 2002 and initially began as a gym instructor. I learnt the right way, building up my experience, then completing further study at University. I graduated in 2009, then spent some time in America to gain more experience, where I trained athletes in Philadelphia. Since returning from the USA, I have continued to improve my reputation within the industry, including regular contributions on radio 5 live and BBC Manchester. PERSONAL TRAINER / I decided 2 years ago to work along side Ollie. With 16 years previous experience of being around gyms it seemed the natural step and establish a career in health and fitness. During my personal development and experience, I’ve learnt and trained professional bodybuilders, professional boxers and athletes alike, enabling me to provide the expert training and sessions I teach today. Working with a variety of different clients and a number of different goals, I can adapt to all clients in the gym, ensuring that each session is rewarding and fun. The gym is my second home, and I feel very comfortable there, it’s my passion to help people achieve their goals, and being able to have a big effect on that really drives me. I love to provide the training and knowledge I have gained throughout my qualifications and experience, enabling me to get such life changing results. PERSONAL TRAINER / With over 5 years experience doing the job I love, I’ve learnt that with a positive mind set, drive and a desire, anything can be achieved. As a fitness professional my main goal is for every one of my clients to smash their goals, no matter what they are or how unachievable they may seem, I will endeavour to work with you to make sure we accomplish them together. I have a recent example of this myself, whilst I’ve always taken a keen interest in everything health and fitness, recently I’ve completed numerous personal challenges health and fitness related, climaxing in me running the London Marathon in 2015. Looking good and more importantly feeling good really motivates me to help other people to feel the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. PERSONAL TRAINER / Fitness and health never came naturally to me. It wasn’t until I was 21 that I even stepped into a gym. I was overweight myself and felt conscious of the way I looked and felt. I went and sought professional help for myself and that is when it opened up a whole new life for me. I loved the whole process and transformation so much that I went and got qualified as a personal trainer; so that I could help other people change just like I did. I always look to further my knowledge , which has lead me to do various nutrition courses, life coaching course and many others in the future. My motto is “Small steps lead towards big changes”; this is the basis of my philosophy and has proven to get my clients amazing and long lasting results. This is down to the fact that I know and have lived the struggles what clients are about to go through when it comes to change, so I want to make it as easy transition as possible so that they never give up on the results they deserve. I have over 6 years of experience, working with clients from varied backgrounds to develop personalised fitness plans and achieve outstanding results. I have worked with clients with health conditions and postural asymmetries and can create effective programmes that are tailored to the needs of any client. I believe that it’s important to be an ‘all rounder’ in this industry and to be able to adapt. I enjoy continually developing my skill base to keep sessions varied and fun. I also incorporate my knowledge of nutrition to enable clients to achieve the best possible results. My personal passion is weight training, which I have done for over 10 years. I’m very fortunate to love what I do and to wake up every morning excited to go to work. PERSONAL TRAINER / I decided to pursue a career in personal training after developing a passion for health and fitness, along with a strong belief in helping people achieve, so in 2010 it was a natural progression to attain my personal training qualifications. With a strong background in functional fitness and marathon training, along with my own interest in my own personal fitness, nutrition and sense of wellbeing, health and fitness was an ideal sector to get involved with. I now get to use my knowledge and skills developed to coach and mentor individual clients each and every day. I’m an adaptable individual with a high work ethic, my job satisfaction comes from my clients smashing their goals, whether that be weight loss, improved self confidence and self esteem, improved sleep or an overall sense of well being. I always encourage people to become more active and I love to build personal relationships with my clients. I understand that people putting their trust in my skills and understanding and buying into what I want to achieve for them is a special thing, and i have made lifelong friends from doing a job I love.
