Personal Trainer -I spent my childhood life being overweight, until I had to start getting fit at the age of 16 to join the British Army. As far as I was aware, fitness was all about running and after leaving the Army to pursue a career as a Personal Trainer I realised that I had been making a lot of mistakes, not only with my training but most importantly with my nutrition. I am devoted to increasing my knowledge and expertise on exercise and movement, nutrition and Psychology (using NLP, Hypnosis and personal coaching strategies) to enhance as many aspects of performance as possible for my sports and leisure activities; including rowing, mountain biking, MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
As a founder of The Move Eat Think Achieve Studio I know the time and effort it takes to get a successful business running. The problem is that with all the time spent working we neglect the 1 most important thing we have....... Our body! There is an obesity epidemic going on right now and I know that this is caused by a complete lack of understanding around training and eating healthily.
A communicator, a motivator and Dynamic - the three things that best describe me and what every great coach should aspire to be. I facilitate lifestyle change and habit development in order for you to achieve your new sustainable functional life. With over 10 years sports coaching experience at various levels, a degree from Bournemouth University in Sports Development and Coaching Sciences (BSc) and a qualified Personal Trainer who constantly strives to better myself, it’s fair to say I love fitness, sport and nutrition. I always have and I always will. What I love more is passing this knowledge and understanding onto others in a manageable way. I’m committed to helping you achieve your goals and will coach you through the process of building the body you want.
From a young age I have had a massive involvement in sport and exercise, representing my county and region in both hockey and heptathlon. My interest didn’t stop with a hobby; consequently I studied Sports and Exercise Science at university. On completing my degree I discovered that my interests were specifically in training, nutrition and adherence to exercise, as you can see a career in personal training was perfect. My specialty areas are weight loss and pre/post natal women; there is a large amount of conflicting information around these areas, I use the knowledge I have learnt in my degree and a number of other courses to empower my clients by passing on this information, supporting them to succeed with their personal goals. The changes that I help my clients implement are sustainable for a healthy lifestyle, all of my clients programs are specifically designed with their personal goals in mind, using a number of training methods, equipment and also supporting with education around nutrition I can ensure that my clients remain motivated and confident on reaching these goals.
For the past 5 years my goal has been to do a PT course and start my dream career but it was never the right time I could never save the money until, after being in dead end jobs and going through the motions every day I decided to up and quit my job and do a PT course and do what I’ve always dreamed of, helping people achieve their own fitness goals. I personally was overweight as a child and in my teens and always struggled with training this is down to a number of factors: mind set, knowledge, nutrition. These key factors can take you from where you are now and get you to where you want to be. My personal mission is the educate people with the right information so they can make better choices about their fitness.

Whatever your goal, whether it's weight loss, toning, improving sports performance, I'm here to offer my expert advice and guidance to get you the results you're after. I'm a strength and conditioning specialist - I obtained my Masters degree in 2012 and have worked with various professional athletes from a range of sports over the years. But you don't have to be a professional to get results! I love working with people from all backgrounds, from elite athletes to the general 'get fit' population. I'm also a self-confessed geek - I'm always reading, watching and listening for any little gem of knowledge that will help me help you. So stop reading!
