William McLintock

William McLintock

GROUP GENERAL MANAGER / Area of Expertise: Muscle Building / Will delivers highly personalised, well balanced training sessions driven by the philosophy that a good workout should incorporate elements that improve strength and cardiovascular fitness as well as flexibility and mobility. Will recognises the need to take a holistic approach to achieve fitness and physique goals and as a Precision Nutrition Certified Coach is able to help clients integrate good nutritional and lifestyle habits into their routine to achieve optimal results. With a Level 3 personal training qualification, Will has continued to focus on professional development. He has recently completed Charles Poliquin’s PICP Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Certification as well as the IKFF Kettlebell Certification. His spare time revolves around a love for sports and training. He has played Rugby Union, playing semi-professionally in the national leagues from the age of 19. Will now trains in wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, competing regularly and winning a gold medal at the English Championship in 2011.

Steve Goodacre

CLUB MANAGER / Area of Expertise: Postural Assessment and Correction, Scientific Strength Training / Steve is a long standing member of the team at the City and combines his role of Assistant Manager with his primary passion of Personal Training. Steve is a highly experienced and knowledgeable trainer who specialises in the integrated fields of corrective exercise, high performance conditioning and lifestyle management. Steve is focused on the results his clients achieve and strongly believes in producing a programme that is unique and ideally suited to what the client need to achieve their goals. His attention to the administration of a detailed nutrition plan combined with the accurate design of a training programme is the basis of his clients achieving fantastic results. To improve his knowledge and skill set, Steve strives to gain the best industry based qualifications. To compliment these he attends seminars and reviews articles and journals published by some of the world's most reputed trainers. Steve already holds qualifications from the Chek Institute, NASM and Premier to name but a few. Steve's sporting interest mainly consists of playing rugby and strength training within the gym environment to improve his physical performance within this sport.

Dan Redwood

SENIOR TRAINER / Area of Expertise: Scientific Core Training, Movement Assessment / During his time within the fitness industry Dan has trained numerous clients with various different goals. Having studied for a National Diploma in Sport and Fitness, focusing primarily on anatomy, training techniques and kickboxing, he moved on to train with Premier Training International, qualifying as a REPS Level 3 Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist. More recently Dan has qualified with Precision Nutrition and has completed Eric Cressey and Mike Reinolds' Functional Stability Programme, covering all facets of the body from Upper body and Lower body training to functional core training. Further to his training certifications Dan is also qualified to teach Spin and group exercise such as circuits and core stability. Additionally he is a qualified lifeguard and Level 2 Cricket Coach the latter of which he uses to help run the youth sides at his local cricket club. Dan works with many clients in corrective exercise, weight loss, muscle building and strength and conditioning training and has achieved great success with many clients in all of these fields. He believes that a combination of structured training and an expert understanding of nutrition is the key to achieving any goal and he prides himself on his knowledge of both key areas. Dan regularly studies the latest research the industry has to offer from attending seminars to reading articles /books and social networking sites. He believes as a trainer and a role model it is important to keep improving his expertise in order to help clients obtain optimal results. Personally Dan has had a lifelong passion for fitness and has competed in many physical activities from football and golf through to swimming. His main sporting passion is cricket which he now plays at a semi-professional standard within the Kent premier league.

SENIOR TRAINER / Area of Expertise: Company Nutritionist, Female Health / Health and fitness has always played a vital role in Sarah-Jane's life. In the past she has trained for and enjoyed a wide variety of sports, including netball, running, athletics and rock climbing. Classical ballet and dance have also played an integral role in her passion for fitness and physical achievement; Sarah has reached an advanced level in both and still continues to practice today. Having previously trained and worked as an actress, Sarah-Jane decided to change her career and follow her other love, exercise going on to complete her Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training with Premier International. She is now focusing on furthering her knowledge in nutrition and is currently doing the precision nutrition Sport and Exercise Nutrition certificate which she is close to completing. Furthermore, she is continuing her learning in pre and post natal exercise of which she has a particular interest. Sarah-Jane is passionate about creating a relationship that inspires, offers knowledge and gives support throughout all aspects of her client's life. She is determined to help her clients achieve the results they want and is committed to making the path to these goals fun, creative and challenging.

PERSONAL TRAINER / Area of Expertise: Functional Strength Training, Movement Assessment and Correction / Dan is a long serving member of the City team and started with the company in 2011. Since being with the company Dan has added to the base of knowledge he had already gained from starting work in the industry at 18. With an already high level of experience and expertise, which has helped to develop Dan into the trainer he is today, he is eager to expand his knowledge further and continues to improve himself by participating in further research, reading and qualifications. Having had a passion for health & fitness from a young age, Dan completed his Personal Training Diploma specialising in key areas such as nutrition, client lifestyle analysis and fitness assessment. Since these initial qualifications he has gone on to undertake further certification including TRX and ViPR training. This skill set has seen Dan lead bootcamps and other group classes such as spinning and circuits which bring an exciting variety to his training. Dan continues to expand his knowledge and expertise using articles and podcasts from some of the top trainers around the world, as well as attending courses which include; Kettlebell sport skill set, Boxing pad work for clients, and is well in to his deep tissue/sports massage qualification. At present Dan is working on two new qualifications to take him to the next level: Precision Nutrition – a leading nutrition qualification and a deep tissue / sports massage qualification. Outside of work Dan has played and competed in a variety of sports throughout his lifetime, with a significant focus on football. Having played at youth level up to the present day he also previously competed for his county. His motivation is driven by achieving any client's goal no matter how challenging they may be. He strongly believes that the only person standing in the way of reaching your goals is yourself and that by combining hard work and fun throughout your sessions you can achieve anything you want resulting in a happier and healthier life.

Patrick Harfield

PERSONAL TRAINER / Area of Expertise: Triathlon and Endurance Sport Coaching / Patrick has always held a passion for sport having competed in running and swimming at county level. He is a keen triathlete, cyclist and runner who competes to a high standard within each of these disciplines. He also enjoys participation in a variety of other sports such as skiing and squash. After completing a BA (Hons) degree in Business Administration and Sports Studies, Patrick took the decision to follow his passion for fitness and become a Personal Trainer. Since achieving his Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training with Premier International, he has delivered over 5000 personal training sessions. Patrick has undertaken further training and qualifications in strength and conditioning, swimming coaching and Watt bike training. He is a qualified Level 2 British Triathlon Coach and has trained athletes to complete triathlons up to Ironman distance, as well as all distances from 5k up to ultra-marathons. Patrick also delivers running and cycling seminars, carries out blood lactate testing, has written many running and cycling articles and has several online videos on running and strength training on the Matt Roberts body network website. Patrick understands that everybody has vastly different exercise needs, lifestyles and commitments. He therefore uses his patient nature and positive outlook to design dynamic programmes which are specifically suited to achieve the individual goals and needs of his clients. In the future, Patrick plans to continue expanding his knowledge and experience of endurance and multi-sports events through training in the biomechanics of running. He will also be training for his 18th consecutive London Marathon as well as longer distance triathlons and mountain fell races.

Tom Osborne

PERSONAL TRAINER / Area of Expertise: Physique and Body Composition Training / Tom is a keen sportsman and has trained and competed in sports such as football, tennis and boxing. His passion for sports inspired him to fulfil a career in the fitness industry. Tom completed his REPS Level 3 personal training qualification in 2010. He began his career working as a freelance personal trainer for a large health and fitness organisation. He takes great pride in his work, always looking to gain further knowledge. Currently he is studying for his Level 1 BioSignature qualification. This focuses on 12 measurement sites throughout the body and how each one relates to different hormones. He is also studying for his Level 1 qualification in PICP. With a true passion for health and fitness, Tom gets great satisfaction from helping people achieve their relevant goals through correct nutrition and exercise. In the future Tom plans to progress his skillset by participating in sports such as mixed martial arts.

Chloe Reynolds

PERSONAL TRAINER / Area of Expertise: Pre and Post Natal, Lower Back Pain / Level 4 Lower Back Pain certified, and National Association of Sport Medicine (NASM) certified trainer. Chloe has roughly 3,500 hours of personal training experience to date, & 3 years experience in teaching kettlebell classes. When Chloe is not training she is usually found with her head in a book, studying new training methods to bring to her clients. She is qualified in padwork, spin, rocktaping, sport nutrition, and is currently completing her Precision Nutrition diploma. In her spare time she enjoys Olympic Weightlifting & Crossfit - an exercise discipline which challenges all elements of functional fitness. Chloe's goal is helping others to feel good about themselves inside and out. She thrives upon helping others to achieve stress relief whilst improving physical appearance and performance. Chloe has experience in helping clients of varied capabilities to achieve fat loss, fitness conditioning, and body transformations.

PERSONAL TRAINER / Area of Expertise: Body Composition / Since graduating with a degree in Sport & Exercise science, Leigh has gained over 5 years’ experience in the industry and in that time he has gained some of the most highly regarded industry qualifications such as NASM, PTA Global and London School of Sports Massage to name a few. Leigh has and has helped well over 100 clients achieve their health and fitness goals and achieving results with his clients is what motivates him. His career initially started working at some of the best health clubs in the UK before moving to Matt Roberts Personal Training. Alongside working as a personal trainer Leigh provided sport science support to Aldershot Town Football Club which involved delivering strength sessions to the 1st team, collecting and analysing performance data and match day preparation. Leigh specialises in helping his clients improve their body composition and well-being whilst incorporating his methods into his clients own unique lifestyle with the aim of creating a programme that is ideally suited to what the client needs to achieve their goals. In his spare time you will find Leigh in the gym practising what he preaches, socialising with friends and reading books on self-development.

PERSONAL TRAINER / Area of Expertise: Hypertrophy and Strength Training / Tim qualified from the Australian Institute of Fitness in 2010 and since then has continuously been involved in the industry, all whilst growing his knowledge and skill set to become a better trainer. A life-long lover and competitor of sports (rugby, athletics, and football to name a few), as well as the outdoors and physical activity, initially led him to seek improvements in his own physical well-being, and to discover more on how to improve overall performance. All of this is applied and passed on to those who train under his guidance. Originally starting out in his small hometown in Australia, Tim journeyed to London in 2011 and in that time has worked at various gyms and health clubs; having trained over 100 individuals to better improve their health, fitness and well-being, before settling in to his current role in mid-2015. In his spare time outside of the gym, he enjoys reading and writing (both on fitness and other subjects), travelling abroad, and occasionally enjoying the outdoors (when the weather permits). He is currently in the middle of a well regarded nutrition qualification and hopes to undertake more studies and courses to develop his skills for the benefit of the clientele. His goal is to continuously improve as a trainer and deliver high quality sessions and mentor those in his role as a health and fitness authority. He always aims to give 100% to each and every client, and ensures that the environment is fun, friendly and relaxed whilst simultaneously offering only the best.?

PERSONAL TRAINER / Area of Expertise: Hypertrophy and Strength Training / Travis has been a personal trainer for 5 years and in this time he has focused on achieving qualifications in nutrition, GP referral, strength and conditioning and movement assessment. Through dedicating time to his studies outside of his work, Travis has developed a long and varied list of knowledge and skills that he regularly utilises to aid and assist his busy client list. Whilst all training with Travis is bespoke, the focus of the typical session will have an emphasis on the hugely effective basic compound lifts, mixed with some more modern training ideas. It makes for a tough session but it gets the results that clients crave and all of this is still delivered in a relaxed and engaging manner. Travis has had a passion for sport and fitness from an early age, initially playing football and rugby through for school and at the age of 16 he represented Saracens rugby. Other sporting interests have included cricket, gymnastics and martial arts. Currently Travis predominantly places the focus of his own training on bodybuilding and powerlifting. Personal training is a dream job for Travis and he thrives on coaching people to become better versions of themselves.

Growing up in Scotland, surrounded by the great outdoors, he soon found himself as being an excellent endurance runner and has since competed in ultra endurance events. This endurance came in handy when he decided to join the Army as part of 16 Air Assault Brigade, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders. After a summer tour of Afghanistan in 2008, he decided that he would return to personal training and moved to London. Now with over 10 years experience and more recently qualifying as an advanced sports nutritionist, Stuart’s knowledge and experience has gained his clients great results, particularly with dramatic weight loss.
