OWNER & PERSONAL TRAINER / Sapan is a personal trainer and owner of the studio. Hugely experienced, and a leading figure in the fitness industry. / Sapan Sehgal began personal training (YMCA accredited) in 2006, precipitated by playing sports semi-professionally, modeling, and completing a master's degree in marketing. Sapan found he had a natural affinity for personal training and instantly landed a spot in one of central London's leading commercial gyms. He quickly earned an excellent reputation, as well as an overflowing and satisfied clientele of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds, and lifestyles. Always looking for a new challenge and ever-inspired, Sapan opened London Fields Fitness Studio in 2010 so he could provide a fun, accessible, and affordable space to engage in high-end training. His pioneering London Fields Method, embraces a holistic approach to fitness, concentrating on body-weight exercises, with tailored fitness programs for individual bodies that can be replicated at home with nothing more than a chair and ball. Sapan hopes that through his work he can change peoples' lives for the better and enjoy a laugh while doing it. Booty Camp (his signature sell-out class) is the culmination of this desire, with attendees drenched in sweat, crying out in pain, singing nursery rhymes breathlessly, making new friends over bum-fights, and shrieking with laughter at his crass jokes. PERSONAL TRAINER / Simon offers varied functional fitness training tailored to your needs, to get fit and feel good! / For entrepreneur and festival performer Simon, fitness is all about being at your best - physically and mentally. Exercise give you energy, focus, and purpose to achieve your goals. Simon is a firm believer in the wonders of exercise for physical and mental health, and has seen the rise in confidence when people have taken control of their bodies and learned new skills. Simon is a keen cyclist and has been running for around 17 years in on form or another, including leading group runs for commercial gyms and training with the 'Elite' runners at Run Dem Crew. Simon has written for Runners' World since 2008 and ran from one end of Germany to the other in a relay! Simon says, "Everything is relative: it's not really about how far or how fast we go; it's about how hard we try. Because the first move is always the hardest bit: just by booking that session you're already streets ahead." Simon gets his biggest buzz not from breaking his own records but from seeing clients break new ground. PERSONAL TRAINER / Rowan is a personal trainer and teaches circuit classes. / Rowan has spent the past several years working and training in health and wellbeing related areas. He holds a degree as a dietitian and combines this knowledge with his personal training experience to devise tailored workout sessions and nutritional advice for his clients. His approach to training is 'train your strengths hard and your weaknesses harder', utilizing bodyweight and core exercises, with free weights and boxing sessions. Rowan's fitness background is all about life experience. For years he was one of the top 3 fastest bicycle couriers in London and his heavy lifting background comes from laboring on building sites. He is a keen sportsman, taking part in mountain biking, white-water kayaking, Muay Thai boxing, and conventional boxing in Cardiff and London. As a trainer, he teaches a variety of fitness classes including circuits, HIIT, HulaFit®, Boot Camp, and Boxercise. Rowan led the fitness warm-ups for participants of British Gas SwimBritain and taught HulaFit® for Prudential Ride London attendees. He loves variety and enjoys the challenge of teaching different types of classes for London Fields Fitness Studio™ 2 years ago, and now taught internationally. Rowan is available for personal training sessions and nutrition consultations. / Qualifications: Personal Trainer Level 3 (YMCA); BSc (Hons) Human Nutrition and Dietetics; OCR Level 2 Circuit Training; Additional Training Includes In-Suspension Fitness; Padwork Boxing; HIIT; and UKSCA Foundation Workshop in Strength and Conditioning.

PERSONAL TRAINER / Mallika is a personal trainer and runs a circuit class. / Raised in Margaret River (a surfy town in Western Australia), Mallika comes from a family that is health conscious in body and mind, growing up on avocados and sandy beaches! She moved to London after falling in love with British music, having watched Glastonbury, The Football Factory, and 24 Hour Party People. She loves traveling, discovering new foods, and hiking. Mallika's clients can expect compassionate, challenging, and creative sessions. Her goal is to make her clients look their very best, making sure that her female clients lose body fat and tone-up without bulking up. She helps male clients build muscle in a balanced way while keeping good posture. She has also helped clients with specific goals such as preparing for weddings, obstacle races, marathons, and aerial silk work (vertical traction). Mallika uses fundamental building block exercises including those for core stability and works with bodyweight, free weights, kettle bells, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT, with weights for extra burn). She aims to have all her clients doing chin-ups! Her favorite exercise is the deadlift, which is used to create tight, lifted bums and strong backs fro daily living. Mallika believes that you should be able to live a balanced lifestyle and enjoy yourself - adding good, healthy aspects rather than just sacrificing. She gives nutrition and lifestyle advice to create sustainable change. "Building the will-power not to over indulge is more important than complete abstinence," she says. / Qualifications: Personal Trainer Level 3; Qualifications in Circuit Training; Core Stability; Tabata High-Intensity workouts; and Nutritional Therapy. She is in the final year of a diploma in naturopathic nutrition.

PERSONAL TRAINER / Amy is a personal trainer and runs HIIT and circuits. / Amy Colls is a personal trainer who genuinely cares about helping people improve their quality of life and always does her best to ensure her clients are receiving the highest service possible. She believes that health and fitness extend beyond a gym setting and should be an attitude towards life, with sustainable and long-term goals in mind. Given Amy's extensive experience as a personal trainer and her education in Physiotherapy, she is able to design high-level individualized programs that enable clients to fulfill their goals no matter where their starting point is. She combines her knowledge of high-intensity training with strength and conditioning exercises alongside elements of pilates and yoga to create a balanced exercise program which focuses on optimum form. So, whether you are dealing with an injury that is preventing you from being active, or simply you want to get fit or lose weight, she can help get you there! Amy's specialities include rehabilitation, movement analysis, sports conditioning, and special populations. She connects with people of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals and get results. Make sure you get along to her buzzing Monday night circuits class! / Qualifications: Recently Qualified with a BSC (Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy; BA (Hons) in Health and Human Services; Graduate from the Australian Institute of Fitness (AIF); Experienced Group Fitness Instructor - Taking Regular Classes in Functional Circuit Training and High-Intensity Training; Pilates Matwork - Level 1 Qualified (APPI); Pre and Antenatal Exercise Qualified (YMCA); Advanced Functional Fitness Course (Faster); and Kettle Bell Instructor Course (Optimal Life Fitness).

PERSONAL TRAINER / Emily is a personal trainer and runs Pure HIIT. / Emily was born and raised in London. After graduating in English & Classics from university in 2006, she went straight to a desk job in the city where she worked for 10 years. Having always been active (sports teams at school/uni, a keen gym goer and sprint triathlon enthusiast), Emily started to spend more time training and learning about nutritions and saw many positive changes to her body and lifestyle and decided to become a personal trainer. Knowing the obstacles city and office workers encounter having been through it all herself (lack of time, poor nutrition options, mobility issues from sitting down all day, etc.), she specializes in motivating clients who encounter various obstacles and assists them with making the changes they need to achieve their goals through physical exercise and nutrition. Emily believes in lifting heavy things to build lean muscle, improve posture, and prevent common ailments we might encounter later in old age, mixed with HIIT and tabata to get a time-efficient workout with results in fitness and fat loss. She also believes in balance, which means eating kale and chocolate... though not necessarily together! / Qualifications: Personal Trainer Level 3; and Qualifications in Nutrition for Fat Loss and Core Stability. Emily is also currently studying nutrition.
