HEAD COACH / Adam White is the Head Coach at AWPTS. He specialises in helping clients to perform at their best in all aspects of life through his unique postural strengthening and movement programs, delivering both physical and psychological confidence for all aspects of life. I work with a small handful of clients at a time to ensure that they are getting my full, undivided attention. I’m extremely selective about the people I do work with as I believe a strong relationship between client and trainer is vital for sustaining commitment and getting great results for my clients.

Julian Thomas

ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE TRAINER / Julian Thomas is a competing GB international athlete. He studied Sport & Exercise Science and graduated from the University of Birmingham. He has won various medals on the international stage including Double Commonwealth Youth Champion 200m, 4x100m and European Silver medalist. Julian has over 13 years experience, working and competing with some of the best athletes in the world. From Olympic champions, world champions and commonwealth champions including Tyson Gay, Mark Lewis Francis and Adam Gemili. He has worked as a consultant with Premiership rugby team Worcester Warriors, Premiership Footballers and PGA Challenge Golfers.

REMEDIAL THERAPIST / Kasia’s over 13 years experience in health and fitness includes being a personal trainer (YMCA) and Remedial Therapist (LSSM).She has helped patients who had sport- and work-related injuries, chronic shoulder and neck pain, lower back pain, hip/knee replacement, sciatica pain, prolapsed disc, plantar fasciitis, fibromyalgia and cancer. She has worked with a wide range of clients: interested in strength and conditioning, fat loss, injury rehabilitation to adults just beginning an exercise program. She combines many disciplines like plyometrics, body weight programme, Pilates and yoga, kettlebells to achieve the best results.

MARTIAL ARTS & SELF-DEFENSE TRAINER / Reco Gilfillian has been part of the Martial Arts, combat and fitness community for over 12 years. Initially practicing Muay Thai and Boxing, Reco then moved on to Krav Maga where he achieved his Instructor Grade in 2013. Reco trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Claudio Silva and is currently under the instruction of Martin Foot (Carlson Gracie Fight Team). Reco is a Qualified Kettlebell and Boot Camp Instructor specialising in Martial Arts Conditioning, self defense and fitness.

BOXING & FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT TRAINER / Health and fitness has always been a part of Chris’s life. From an early age Chris competed to international standard winning European bronze. With over 9 years experience in the fitness industry Chris has a client base of all levels and abilities. His workouts are tailored specifically to individual needs and getting the most out of his clients.

PILATES & POSTURE IMPROVEMENT TRAINER / Babs is a Sports Science graduate and lives Health and Fitness. He has amassed 9 years experience within the industry and enjoys a variety of disciplines such as Weights, Boxing, Long distance running and Pilates. This variety has given Babs a great understanding of Anatomy and Exercise. As a youth Babs played Football at semi-professional level and has also competed in triple jump and 400m at county level.

BODY WEIGHT & GYMNASTICS TRAINER / Ricardo Vega is a new addition to the AWPTS team with an extensive background in gymnastics training and other sports including Volleyball, Rugby and Basketball. Gymnastics strength training can provide countless benefits for holistic health and well-being for all shapes and ages. By focusing on bodyweight progressions, clients will have the opportunity to increase relative strength, strength endurance, mobility, proprioception, kinaesthetic awareness which can all lead to great gains in lean muscle mass and fat loss.

ENDURANCE EVENT & JUDO TRAINER / Sarah started off in the world of fitness at a very young age. At 11 she had represented England in a number of Judo matches and fell in love with all things sport and fitness related. Her level of fitness gained from judo set her up to play a wide range of other sports at a high standard including; Hockey for the West of England, Rugby for Exeter, Cross Country to County standard and more. She now works with a wide range of clients from those who are training for long distance events through to those who are just trying to get a fitter and move better. Always an entertaining and rewarding when training with Sarah.

MULTIDISTANCE RUNNING & FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT TRAINER / Lauren has been immersed in health and fitness from a young age, playing every team sport she could find and has moved into marathon running for the past 4 years. She prides herself on creating unique workouts for each client using kettlebells, primal movements, HIIT, bodyweight, circuits, free weights and many more new movement patterns. Lauren’s focus is to educate clients about health and fitness to ensure they understand why we are adopting certain workout regimes, ensuring clients are educated to the point whereby they can maintain a healthy lifestyle outside of our sessions. Lauren enjoys working with all personalities, and has had great success with those who work in a highly stressful office environment, having been there herself.

BODYBUILDING & NUTRITION THERAPIST / My journey to becoming a nutritionist and personal trainer began many years ago when I realised that a balanced diet is an essential part of spiritual and mental health, and physical fitness. After trying different diets such as raw food, vegan, vegetarian and others I became aware of the nutritional gaps in most modern diet plans, including the lack of some essential vitamins, minerals, proteins and other compounds which are necessary for good health and longevity.
